Wis. DNR to offer wolf ecology clinic Posted: 27 Jan 2011 08:30 PM PST Associated Press - January 27, 2011 5:05 AM ET BABCOCK, Wis. (AP) - Wisconsin wildlife officials plan to offer a 2-day public seminar on wolves next month. Biologists and volunteers from the Timber Wolf Information Network will spend the first day talking about the state's wolf population and field study techniques. The second day will spent outside exploring wolf habitat. The seminar is set for Saturday, Feb. 19, and Sunday, Feb. 20, at the Sandhill Outdoor Skills Center near Babcock. Registration is limited to 25 people, who will have to pay an $80 fee to cover instruction, food and dorm use on Saturday night. Copyright 2011 The Associated Press. All rights reserved.
